a raft to romancy

An immersive sculptural device taking the form of a seat connected to a VR headset, a raft to romance — an original creation — is a sensitive and physical breach into the psyche of Lubna, a white French sex worker from genZ. An intimate, individual experience: the viewer is invited to take place inside a soft, organically shaped device. They come into frontal contact with Lubna's sexual mythology. Several 3D "tableaux" make it possible to grasp, in fragments, her bodily and psychic relationship to sex work (we go through, among others, a scene reproducing the first porn film she remembers, integrating her face into the body of the lead actress, in order to reclaim defining images of her sexuality). By inserting herself into scenes encountered at work, in pornography, in her sexual intimacy, Lubna engages a re-enactment process allowing her to deliver a testimony that had been until then unspeakable.
